Recipe
This 2-in-1 cleansing shaving bar (or bar) provides a smooth shave, while cleansing the skin deeply. Rich in hemp vegetable oil and shea butter, it hydrates and softens your epidermis and helps heal microcuts caused by shaving. This soap-free cleanser produces a light lather, ideal for a gentle shave, then leaves your skin feeling clean and hydrated. The glycerin it contains maintains hydration on the surface of the skin while the white clay soothes and purifies.
PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS
- Crystal coconut washing surfactant: this surfactant is very gentle, non-sulphated and ultra-easy to use. Soluble in cold water, it forms opaque and milky shower gels but also solid bars without soap. It produces a creamy lather ideal for a soft and smooth shave.
- Shea butter: it nourishes and softens dry or dehydrated skin. It protects the skin from external aggressions such as wind, chlorine or the sun by leaving a protective hydrolipidic film.
- Vegetable glycerin: it ensures perfect hydration. A moisturizing agent whose effectiveness on cells is scientifically demonstrated, glycerin improves the appearance of the skin, making it supple and smooth. It is also non-comedogenic.
- Hemp vegetable oil: hemp vegetable oil is the ideal ally for dry and sensitive skin. It protects the skin from dehydration, while strengthening your beard. Your skin is repaired and soothed.
- White clay: both absorbent and restorative for the skin, it is particularly recommended for dry and fragile skin. It softens, unclogs pores and beautifies the face without damaging it. Impurities and toxins are eliminated. It is also healing and antiseptic.
Usage
Precautions before starting
Before starting, it is advisable to clean and disinfect the work surface and the utensils: the prepared products will go on the skin, it is therefore necessary to avoid any microbial contamination!
Thoroughly clean the BeautyMix. Then, soak a clean cloth in 70° alcohol (available in supermarkets) and use it to disinfect the BeautyMix tank and all the utensils. Let dry.
Clean the work surface and remove objects that could get in the way.
Place a clean paper towel on the work surface, and place the utensils on it. Have available: a clean teaspoon or spatula, and a clean, dry container for pouring the preparation once ready. Wash hands thoroughly.
Respect the dosages indicated for the ingredients of the recipe.

Preparation

Place the following ingredients in a bowl in a bain-marie: coconut crystal cleansing surfactant, water, glycerin, shea butter, stearic acid and hemp oil.

Then heat your bowl in a bain-marie.

Mix until you obtain a homogeneous paste.

Remove the bowl from the heat then add the white clay.

Then place your preparation in a mold. Allow your cleansing shaving bar to harden for approximately two hours before removing it from the mold, then allow it to dry for 48 hours before use.
