Why choose this product?
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the cells of the dermis (layer of skin located just below the epidermis). The dermis is a bit like what we call the skin's support mattress. Hyaluronic acid plays an important role by retaining water, therefore allowing good skin hydration as well as a lifting and plumping effect. It works with collagen to maintain good skin elasticity. Hyaluronic acid is also present in the connective tissues of the joints and eyes. Unfortunately, its production decreases over the years... The skin then becomes less elastic and wrinkles and fine lines appear.

Use: How to use hyaluronic acid for the face?

Pure use, directly on the skin

Hyaluronic acid is often available as a very fine white powder. It can never be applied pure to the skin. To be effective, hyaluronic acid must be solubilized in water or in any cosmetic containing an aqueous phase. Hyaluronic acid does not dissolve in oil or oily phases. It cannot therefore be added to a serum consisting exclusively of vegetable oils.

For the creation of all your homemade cosmetics

Plumping and hydrating, essential in all your homemade cosmetics, hyaluronic acid is added at a rate of 0.2 to 0.5% of the total weight of your preparations (i.e. 0.2 g – 0.5 g / 100 g of cream ) aqueous (like lotions) or containing an aqueous phase (like creams and milks). It is always added at the end of preparation after the heating step if necessary.

Hyaluronic acid for whom and for what skin types?

You will mainly use hyaluronic acid for:

Mature skin
Dry or very dry skin
Dehydrated skin
Fine lines and wrinkles around the lips and crow's feet
Plump up thin, not very plump lips
Reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes

4 quick recipes & tips based on hyaluronic acid

Beauty tip: rehydrating toner for dry skin

In a 100 ml bottle, add 90 ml of rose hydrosol, 10 ml of glycerin, 0.5 g of hyaluronic acid and 20 drops of isocide. Shake vigorously to mix the ingredients well. Use morning and evening on the face to cleanse, tone and rehydrate your skin.

Anti-aging serum for the eye area

Pour 45 ml of cornflower hydrosol into a bowl and add 10 drops of isocide. Sprinkle 0.5g of xanthan gum, mix vigorously for 1 minute (it is normal for lumps to form, they will disappear once the gum has finished hydrating). Now sprinkle 0.25 g of hyaluronic acid and leave to hydrate for a few minutes. Then mix every 15 or 20 minutes until all lumps are gone (total hydration takes about 45 minutes). When your gel is homogeneous and without lumps, add 8 ml of rosehip vegetable oil and 4 drops of vitamin E. Mix until the oils are completely dissolved in the gel. Transfer to the 50 ml airless pump bottle. Spread a small amount of gel around the eye area, carefully avoiding any contact with the eye. Gently massage for a few moments to penetrate, morning and evening.

Ultra hydrating night cream with hyaluronic acid and urea

Pour 15 ml of jojoba vegetable oil into a first bowl then add 3 g of cutina. Pour 30 ml of orange blossom hydrosol, 2.5 g of urea (previously ground in a mortar) and 0.15 g of baking soda into a second bowl and mix lightly. Heat 2 pans of water. When the water begins to simmer in the 2 pans, place your 2 bowls in the bain-marie at the same time and let your preparations heat up without mixing or stirring (the water must remain simmering). As soon as the cutina has completely melted in the oil, wait another 1 minute (very important to reach the right temperature) then remove the bowls from the bain-marie. Immediately pour the aqueous phase (i.e. the hydrosol) into the oily phase then beat vigorously with a whisk or fork for at least 5 minutes until a homogeneous and creamy texture is obtained (let cool further 5 minutes). Finally add 0.1 g of hyaluronic acid, 10 drops of isocide and 4 drops of vitamin E. Beat again to thoroughly homogenize your preparation. Use in the morning on clean skin.

Plumping and antioxidant day cream with hyaluronic acid and coenzyme Q10

Pour 8 ml of strawberry seed vegetable oil into a first bowl then add 3 g of cutina. Pour 37 ml of lavender hydrosol and 0.15 g of baking soda into a second bowl and mix lightly. Finally add 1 ml of co-enzyme Q10, 0.1 g of hyaluronic acid, 10 drops of isocide and 4 drops of vitamin E. Beat again to thoroughly homogenize your preparation. Use in the morning on clean skin.

Properties and benefits

What are the benefits of hyaluronic acid for the face?

Hyaluronic acid as anti-aging

Hyaluronic acid, by maintaining skin hydration, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles that slowly appear with age. It plumps the skin, lifts wrinkles and redensifies the tissues. A key ingredient in many anti-aging creams on the market, hyaluronic acid is an effective and 100% natural cosmetic ingredient. Very small amounts of hyaluronic acid are enough for a WOW effect! In fact, you just need to add between 0.2 and 0.5% to all your face creams!

Hyaluronic acid to moisturize dry skin

The moisturizing properties of hyaluronic acid have been recognized for years! A natural moisturizer and humectant for skin cells, its production unfortunately decreases with age. The skin dries out and fine lines and wrinkles appear. Oh yes ! Dry skin and wrinkled skin often go hand in hand. Added to all your homemade cosmetics with an aqueous phase, hyaluronic acid will help fade fine lines and wrinkles and hydrate the skin. So here is an all-in-one solution for mature skin!

Hyaluronic acid for the eye area

Ideal for lifting the eye contour, reducing fine lines and reducing dark circles, hyaluronic acid is the key ingredient in all your eye contours. In synergy with cornflower hydrosol, macadamia vegetable oil and satin mica, it opens the eyes and illuminates the eye contour. 100% natural ingredient, it does not cause any allergic reactions, even on the most sensitive and reactive skin.

Detailed properties of hyaluronic acid for the face

Anti-aging

The hydrating and anti-aging properties of hyaluronic acid are intrinsically linked. It is by maintaining water on the surface of the skin that hyaluronic acid helps to fill in wrinkles and fine lines, particularly those around the eyes and around the lips.

Moisturizing and plumping

Hyaluronic acid, naturally present in skin tissues, helps protect the skin's hydrolipidic film. It absorbs water inside the cells of the dermis and epidermis giving the skin this “lifted” and “plumped” effect.

Precautions for use

Hyaluronic acid, like all cosmetic ingredients, must be kept out of the reach of children.
Do not inhale or ingest the powder.
Store this ingredient and homemade cosmetics away from heat, light and humidity.
Respect the recommended dosages carefully.
